Poco Script FAQ - Filter and Script Interaction
PocoFilter and PocoScript Interaction
If you are using both filters and scripts within Poco you should be aware that they run in the order in
which they are defined in the filters window (F4). It is also important to know that if a message is
acted on by a filter or script then no subsequent filter or script will act on
the message.
In the above description the term "acted on" refers to the triggering condition(s) being met and the
filter or script performing one of the following actions:
- deleting the message,
- moving the message to a folder (copying does not affect this),
- stop processing.
Note that for filters the order of the actions within a given filter is also important. Any one of the
above actions may cause actions subsequent to that action to be skipped.
