The TagAnnotatedMessages script can be used to either:
Select all messages containing an annotation.
Select all messages with an annotation that contains a phrase you specify (via the Setup Script
functionality).
Once you have downloaded the script use it to display all messages in a mailbox that have annotations as
follows:
Select all messages in the mailbox.
Run the script by selecting "TagAnnotatedMessages" from the "All Scripts Run" item on the "Tools" menu.
Select "tagged" from the "Show only" bar.
Displaying messages with an annotation containing a specific phrase
In order to avoid being prompted repeatedly for the phrase we use the
"Setup Script" feature to supply the phrase we are searching for.
Once this is done we run the script as per the instructions above.
Resetting the phrase to locate all messages with an annotation
Once we have run the Setup Script function to specify a phrase, as described in the section on
"Displaying messages with an annoation containing a specific phrase" every subsequent use of the
script will only find messages with that phrase. In order to change this we must run the "Setup
Script" function again. There is a special phrase that is used to indicate to the script that we
want to find all messages that contain an annotation (regardless of the content of that annotation).
To view this text use the Debug run button and copy the phrase from the
InputBox. Then enter this phrase in the Setup Script window.
