I initially switched to Poco after the "ILoveYou" virus made it's debut.
I wasn't using OutLook at the time but realized I was still vulnerable to attacks and wanted to find a
mail client that would be as immune as possible from virus attacks. To my delight I discovered Poco. Below are some links to some of the problems other email clients have and to some of Poco's security features:
The Account settings can be password protected.
Mailboxes can be password protected or, for greater security, individual messages can be encrypted.
Poco is immune from the
"wire tap bug" that affects some HTML
enabled email programs.
A privacy sheet can be activated so people cannot view messages on your screen.
A startup password can be used to prevent unauthorized users from launching Poco.
